Abacus is conducting an energy and water, and building automation audit for the United Methodist Church in eastern Virginia. The main challenge of this project is to find the most efficient and cost-effective way of integrating different building types with very different uses and occupancies under one building control system.

The National Center for State Courts, an independent, non-profit court improvement organization engaged Abacus to provide LEED certification and energy conservation strategies for their headquarters in historic Williamsburg, Virginia.

PORTCO, Inc. a non-profit providing employment for people with disabilities has hired Abacus to develop LEED certification and energy strategies for their 1960s vintage headquarters building in Portsmouth, Virginia.

WHH Trice, a Mid-Atlantic multifamily owner hired Abacus to develop 20 year capital plans for their multifamily portfolio, incorporating energy upgrades and benchmarking in the analysis. The emphasis in this portfolio project is to provide energy and water saving solutions that can be implemented as low cost, operational budget items as well as capital projects with longer payback periods.
